Trail Buddies are the riders who built TourenUp's trail network. You map routes, verify sections, and create drills on terrain you know. Every time another rider trains on a section you created, you earn Trail Coins. The trails you map stay yours — permanently credited to your profile.
Map a verified trail. Submit a trail through the app. Once approved, it joins the network and your name is permanently attached to it. Earn Trail Coins on approval
Create a drill section. Mark a technical part of your trail — a climb, descent, off-camber, sand section. Riders come specifically to train there. Earn Trail Coins every time a rider completes your section
Build your portfolio. The more sections you have and the more riders train on them, the more coins you accumulate. Your contribution history is permanently visible on your Trail Buddy profile. Earn Trail Coins compound over time
What Trail Buddies do
Three things. All of them matter.
1
Verify terrain that matters You've ridden these trails. You know where the difficulty actually is, what bike class handles it, what conditions change everything. That knowledge is exactly what other riders need before they go out.
2
Create scored drill sections
Technical sections on your trails become official drill zones — places where riders practice specific techniques and get scored by Touren-1. Every drill completion on your section earns you coins.
3
Build the local network
Your sections and trails connect to the wider TourenUp map. Riders planning trips in your region find your work first. The best Trail Buddies become the recognized authority on their local terrain — not because of follower counts, but because their trails are used.
